Lil Wayne has not exactly been silent about his issues with Birdman along with his label Cash Money. After showing in 2014 which Birdman was suppressing the launch of Tha Carter V and did not cover Wayne outstanding royalties, Wayne has been very vocal about how Birdman treated him as an artist. It had been believed that they were close to exercising their million dollar lawsuit but after Birdman shouted Roc-A-Fella rather than Cash Money out during his Camp Flog Gnaw performance, Birdman allegedly called the negotiations off.
Against Cash Money Once More, Lil Wayne talked out during a performance at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse. “You have been motherfucking amazing,” Wayne shouted into the audience. “My name is Tunechia. I’m here on behalf of Young Mula motherfucking baby. Fuck Cash Money in they butt. Holler back.” Wayne has previously dissed Cash Money on lots of monitors, only recently rapping “I cut off CMB, I’m an amputee” onto a cooperation using Gucci Mane.
It is uncertain if Tha Carter V will ever see the light of day, but , which we can apparently expect to listen to comparatively shortly. Mannie Fresh failed provide a trailer of an unreleased track potentially from Tha Carter V only yesterday (December 4), nevertheless.
